Henrike Stahl is an artistic photographer and was born in 1980 in Germany. She adores fashion and is an autodidact who mixes photography, painting and drawing.
Since 2001, she works in the fashion world and produces portraits. She also has been greeted by a special mention for the Picto Prize of the Jeune Photographie de Mode Award. She lives between Paris and Berlin and is published in many magazines such as: Metal (Spain), Dazed & Confused (Great-Britain), Crash (France)... Among others she was exposed at the Rencontres Internationales d'Arles, the Transphotos of Lilles, at the Aw Gallery of Berlin and at the Tinlark Gallery of Los Angeles.

The desire for life, to embrace it, dance with it, feel it, embrace it with the passion of carelessness and youth.
That we await death,
In high places or in the shallows,
That which is feared, fought
Scorned, ignored, challenged,
Or just forgotten.
That one has been seized by this vertigo,
At this moment when we feel it rock,
In the void, in the unknown,
Whether we did not see anything coming. Whether one dreams of being immortal, eternal, indestructible or whether we suddenly think we’re just screwed;
Let’s eat life, burn it, cherish it,
Or curse it.
Whoever we are, whatever our age,
We all have at one time or another,
This irrepressible desire to feel alive.
Plane of Existence is an exhibition composed of three parts
Touch It, Push It, Risk It
Henrike explores three different ways to consider this triangular waltz of death, of life, with us in the middle.
This series is an ode to life.
