Mercedes Cosano was born in Puente Genil (Córdoba) in April 1984. She holds a degree in Audiovisual Communication and a Higher Degree in Film Production and Direction with a specialization in Image Analysis. She has been self-taught in photography since the age of 15 and graduated at the top of her class in the Efti International Master's degree program in Concept and Creation Photography. In addition, she has received training as a video artist and has given lectures on the history of this art form. She has also created video art pieces for various clients.

Mercedes Cosano actively collaborates with other artists in the national and international art scenes, participating in joint projects. She also works as an assistant and creative consultant for several photographers, providing her expertise and insights.
