Céline Villegas is a french-chilean photographer born in 1981 in France. She graduated in Political Sciences in 2003 and she currently lives and works in Paris. She has dedicated her career to photography since 2013 and she shoots mainly with color films. Inspired by both artistic photography and documentary, Céline has a discreet poetic view on reality. She works specifically on sea side territories and aquatics worlds. She is a member of the Hans Lucas Studio.

Look Mama I'm dancing
"Look Mama I'm dancing" is a work on artistic swimming. Further than glitters and make-up, this long term project ofers an artistic vision of this rigorous sport practiced by young ladies and teenagers. Through fragments of bodies and reverse underwater perspectives, I play with reality and limits of social documentary. I've spent months from north to south of France observing this aquatic environment, working with analog camera.
