Jorinde Gersina
GERMANY
At the age of 12, she began black-and-white photography alongside her brother. Her brother received his first Nikon camera and a darkroom when she was 12 years old. The darkroom became her experimental space, where she used leaves, scissors, knives, forks, and even dolls to create shadows on the paper.
As she grew up, she immersed herself in the study of artists like Dali, Man Ray, and others. At the age of 22, after studying theater, she moved to Cadaqués and fully dedicated herself to photography, drawing inspiration from Duchamp, Max Ernst, Dali, Man Ray, as well as the Surrealist and Dadaist movements.
Since then, she has embarked on an artistic journey, capturing the world through the lens of surrealism and Dadaism, constantly pushing the boundaries of her art.
